Marina Heights Tower – One Bedroom Apartment Renovation

Step into the beautifully renovated one-bedroom apartment in the esteemed Marina Heights Tower, brought to life by Algebra Contracting LLC. We’ve expertly transformed the kitchen from an L-shape into a spacious C-shape, offering abundant storage space while maintaining a sleek design. The master bathroom has been reimagined into a luxurious sanctuary, and the powder room has undergone a chic renovation. With meticulous attention to detail, we’ve completed stunning flooring work, refreshing painting tasks, and installed stylish wardrobes. Kitchen – A Journey From Demolition to Transformation

Our team diligently undertook the kitchen transformation, ensuring that every detail received meticulous attention. The project commenced with a complete demolition of the previous kitchen, including the removal of cabinets, appliances, and the sink. Extensive electrical work was carried out to reconfigure the kitchen layout, involving the relocation of switches and sockets from the backsplash tile area.

The plumbing was overhauled by removing and repositioning the water supply and drainage system for the sink. Outdated copper pipes were replaced with modern PEX pipes, and concealed pipes above the ceiling were changed to PPR, starting from the kitchen gate valve.

The ceiling underwent a revamp, featuring a plain, painted gypsum finish. Dimmable Technolight spotlights were installed to provide ambient lighting, while a semi-solid wooden door with a matte white PU paint finish added an elegant touch to the space.

Custom-made kitchen cabinets were crafted, featuring machine-made carcases and handleless doors made by hand. The exterior boasts a sleek white paint finish, while the interior showcases melamine for a modern aesthetic. The Crystal Calacatta Silva kitchen top, with its polished surface and 40mm mitered edge, adds a luxurious touch to the room.

As for appliances, a range of Siemens products were installed, including a built-in oven, microwave, induction hob, hood, dishwasher, and bottom freezer. Additionally, the kitchen includes hidden under-cabinet lighting and a state-of-the-art sink mixer.

While maintaining the functionality of the existing exhaust diffusers and smoke detectors, we also facilitated the installation of an existing washer dryer. Our renovation breathed new life into the kitchen, transforming it into a space that is both stylish and functional.

Master Bathroom Transformation

The extensive renovation of the master bathroom commenced with a complete strip-out. This involved removing the door, wall and floor tiles, accessories, and sanitaryware items such as the wash basin cabinet, marble top, mirror, and bathtub. All waste was efficiently cleared from the site, paving the way for the transformation to begin.

A crucial aspect of the renovation was the plumbing overhaul. This included relocating the water supply for the shower and washbasin, as well as the drainage and WC soil pipe. We replaced all concealed copper pipes with PEX pipes, and above-ceiling copper pipes were changed to PPR from the gate valve. Simultaneously, we addressed the electrical elements, preparing power points for the illuminated mirror and concealed lights. A sizeable niche of 70 x 30 cm was carefully cut and prepared inside the shower wall, installed with a strip light for a pleasant ambient glow.

We fabricated, supplied, and installed an elegant semi-solid wooden sliding door, finished beautifully in PU white paint. The ceiling was fitted with new gypsum, including paint preparation. A raised floor was created to facilitate the installation of the linear floor trap, which was meticulously waterproofed. The walls were adorned with stylish ‘Stream Grey’ tiles, expertly installed with high-quality adhesives and grout. Finishing touches included a backlit mirror, vanity units, and gleaming chrome accessories from RAK, adding a touch of luxury to the sophisticated bathroom.

Powder Room Transformation

The powder room underwent an extensive transformation, involving the complete removal of wall and floor tiles, accessories, and sanitaryware items like the washbasin cabinet, marble top, mirror, and more. This thorough clear-out made way for the installation of new features and components. The plumbing system was upgraded, replacing concealed copper pipes with PEX pipes above the ceiling and switching to PPR from the gate valve, resulting in improved water supply efficiency in the room.

The new design showcases a fresh gypsum ceiling adorned with dimmable spotlights from Technolight, creating an enhanced overall ambiance. A concealed flush tank was integrated into the WC wall, neatly covered by a calcium silicate sheet. Stream grey tiles now grace the floor and walls, complemented by a new vanity unit featuring a Crystal Absolute White Quartz top. The look is completed with a backlit mirror and new accessories, including a towel ring, toilet roll holder, towel holder, and robe hook, all boasting a sleek chrome finish from RAK. This transformation has resulted in a modern, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing powder room.

Balcony Transformation

As part of our comprehensive balcony transformation, we undertook the task of supplying and installing new floor tiles on top of the existing ones. Utilising specifically chosen adhesives and grout. We laid down Bagno Foreste D’Italia Bianco Matt tiles, selected for their aesthetic appeal and durability. Additionally, to ensure a seamless look, we also supplied and fitted the same floor tiles as skirting. With an extensive length of 35 linear metres. This renovation provided a fresh and elegant upgrade to the balcony area.

Wardrobes, Flooring work, Painting work

Through an efficient renovation process, we revitalised wardrobes, flooring, and painting. Firstly, we deconstructed and removed the previous wardrobe unit, then cleaned the site for the new installation. The customised wardrobe, with three hinged doors, drawers, shelves, and a cloth hanger, was fabricated to client specifications. Architrave, skirting, and sensory lights elevated its aesthetics and functionality.

For the flooring, we carefully installed parquet, enhancing the space’s appearance with a durable and eco-friendly surface.

The painting work brought a vibrant change, revamping the area’s appeal. Dimmable spotlights from Technolight further enhanced the painted rooms. We also replaced switches and sockets with ABB SS Finish, upgrading functionality and safety.

This 2 bedroom apartment completely demolished and rebuilt.  The clients aim was to rent out the apartment in marina heights tower, so we left out a few things like ceiling designs, but have created an amazing space by converting the formerly closed kitchen into an open concept design kitchen with bar for entertainment and lots of storage room.

All 3 bathrooms renovated in the same client chosen design with big shower space, illuminated mirrors and niches and an overall light design with exception to the cabinet works.

All bedrooms have custom built wardrobes with illumination. The entire Apartment fitted with German Oak laminate. On the terrace we installed wood lookalike tiles that look exactly as the internal flooring creating a wonderful flow when opening the balcony doors.

Apartment Renovation

Location: Marina Heights Tower, Dubai Marina

This 2 bedroom apartment completely demolished and rebuilt.  No expense was spared with new custom built floor to ceiling doors from our carpentry factory.

All 3 bathrooms have a different design and were completely remodeled beyond recognition. It is all made with a modern interior design with the latest products used in all rooms.

All bedrooms have custom built wardrobes with illumination made from spray painted MDF, an unusual high quality built, not very common due to the cost. The entire Apartment was retiled with porcelain tiles, even the wood look is a wood lookalike tile for maximum durability.

The guest bedroom is one of a kind with simply a glass partition separating the room from the bathroom with its free standing bathtub and rain shower to imitate a Hotel style room and holiday feeling.

lastly the kitchen is a complete custom solution with a big Quartz / Porcelain kitchen counter and backsplash imitating a marble look including a custom cut white stone sink made of the same material.
